We will run the events in accordance Government Guidelines along with the selected ground’s Covid-19 safe rules and all events will be ran in squad format.  Coaching will be offered where we are able to run them in a proper and safe manner.

As you may be aware many grounds are now opening from 29th March 2021 with restrictions so please check on their websites most have a pre book system in place to keep you all safe and all have sanitisers around the ground, so go out and have fun and support your ground.

About the League

This year we will be running a league table for ladies shooting as both individual and team members. In 2021 there will be six league events running from May to October and all will be shot on the first Saturday of the month.

The Events will be held at :

Catton Hall Outdoor Experience Venue

Mickley Hall Shooting School

North Wales Shooting School

Holmes Chapel Shooting Ground

Fauxdegla Premier Shooting Ground

Doveridge Clay Sports Club

Oakedge Shooting Ground

Manchester Clay Shooting Club

The format will be a 80 bird shoot (ESP) open to ladies from all counties. There will be six English Sporting (ESP) league events.

Two extra events will be Skeet (ESK) and Down the Line/Trap (DTL) if the calendar allows

The League is designed for women who want that bit more out of their shooting and would like an introduction to a competitive and informative environment. The events will be run in a helpful, friendly atmosphere where you can experience all aspects of competitive shooting. Scoring will be done within the event squads and assisted by Cheshire CPSA volunteers where possible.

As an individual, you will be classified (A, B or C shooter) this will be determined at each event, you must shoot three of the six events to qualify for the end of season awards. Upon registration you can nominate your chosen ground team that you wish to shoot for. The best four scores per team members will count for the Top Team award at each event.

Guest Appearances

We have lined up through the year top lady shooters to give you demos and hopefully answer any questions you may have.  We are incredibly lucky to have this opportunity and we hope that you will be able to take advantage of these sessions.

The Individual awards

Hopefully, restrictions lifted there will be a Presentation of awards at the end of the season, as a team you will shoot for the team trophy , the trophy every ground wants in their cabinet!  There will also be a presentation for individual Awards, and we will release more details as the League goes through the year.

At each event we will reward the Top Team, and Overall High Gun. The classified High Gun, 2nd and 3rd place shooters will receive awards at the following event.

To be in with a chance of winning the Individual League, you need to complete a minimum of three events.
