Ladies Clay Shooting League

Are you new to shooting, would you like to join like-minded ladies?

Would you like to improve your shooting skills in the company of other ladies whilst having fun?

Are you looking for a route to move forward with your shooting?

Then the Ladies Clay Shooting League is for you!

We are very proud of the fact that some ladies shoot for fun and others have gone on to shoot competitively for their county and country.

When the Ladies Clay Shooting League was first set up it was to try and encourage more ladies into clay shooting in order to help the counties in our region, we have since developed over the years and become a great place to meet socially &/or develop your shooting skills.

We run an 80 bird sporting event at different grounds each month for all levels of shooters. Following the rules laid out by our governing body the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA UK) we guide you through the process in an informative and friendly manner so that you are more than prepared when and if you take the plunge into competitive shooting or you can shoot just for fun. Not only will you learn the rules but our qualified instructor is there to help with advice, gun fit and coach you on different targets and shooting methods in a friendly environment.

You tell us what you are looking for and we will help you.

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsor this year.

About the League

This year we will be running a league table for ladies shooting. There will be eight league events running from March to October and all will be shot on the first Saturday of the month.

The Events will be held at :

Mickley Hall Shooting School

Fauxdegla Premier Shooting Ground

Eaton Hall Shooting Ground

Manchester Clay Shooting Club

West Midlands Shooting Ground

The format will be a 80 bird shoot (ESP) open to ladies from all counties. There will be eight English Sporting (ESP) league events.

The League is designed for women who want that bit more out of their shooting and would like an introduction to a competitive and informative environment. The events will be run in a helpful, friendly atmosphere where you can experience all aspects of competitive shooting. Scoring will be done within the event squads and assisted by volunteers where possible.

As an individual, you will be classified (A, B or C shooter) this will be determined at each event, you must shoot three of the six events to qualify for the end of season awards.

At each event we will reward Overall High Gun. The classified High Gun, 2nd and 3rd place shooters will receive awards at the following event.

To be in with a chance of winning the Individual League, you need to complete a minimum of six events.
